In January-July, Ukraine exported 29.16 thousand tons of ferrous scrap valued at $12.37 million, down 3.55-fold and 9.9-fold YoY respectively.
According to the State Customs Service, Ukraine decreased scrap imports 9.5-fold, to 1.55 thousand tons valued at $3.28 million, down 8.2-fold.
The main suppliers were Turkey (78.89% in monetary terms), Russia (14.09%) and Cyprus (5.4%), while the main customers – Turkey (60.71%), Poland (12.88%) and Germany (9.53%). (Ukrainian metal)
