GeoProMining has bought controlling shares of the Vismut company, which owns a license to develop the Zhelezniy Kryazh deposit in the Zabaikalye region with the reserves of 830 thousand ounces (25.8 tons) of gold.
The company spent around 1 billion rubles on the purchase.
Earlier, the 100% share was owned by Emelido Ltd, Cyprus.
In 4 years, GPM intends to launch a gold-extracting factory with the capacity of 3 tons per year. (Ukrainian metal)
