In January-July Novorossijsk Sea Trade Port handled 85.162 million tons of cargo, up by 6.7% YoY.

Ferrous metals accounted for 7.247 million tons, down by 5.4% YoY.

The drop is due to the ferrous metals imports duties in the USA and bad market situation.

Non-ferrous metals throughput decreased by 15.6%, to 0.528 million tons.

At the same time the port handled 1.7 million tons of iron ore raw materials, up by 15.1% due to the price increase in China. (Ukrainian metal)
