Since the start of the year Mechel-Service has supplied almost 2.5 thousand tons of rolled metal for the construction of the Moscow subway.
Most of the products – rebars, sheet and beams – are manufactured at Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works.
Metal wares, strips and shaped sections are also supplied to the construction site.
Cold-deformed rebars B500 are used to produce tubings.
“In the past three years Mechel-Service has shipped over 15 thousand tons of rolled metal for the Moscow subway construction. Previously it was mostly rebars, but now beams and metal wares are gaining weight in our supplies”, the company commercial director Stanislav Karpov said. (Ukrainian metal)
