In January-June automobile transportation of metal and mining products decreased.
In particular, transportation of iron ore fell by 40%, to 415.3 thousand tons, and of metal – by 15.6%, to 1.49 million tons.
According to the State Statistics Service, transportation of iron, steel, pig iron and ferroalloys dropped by 2.4%, to 370 thousand tons, of metal structures – by 33.7%, to 484 thousand tons, and of metal wares – by 7%, to 46 thousand tons.
Only pipes, tubes, hollow sections and fittings transportation increased by 12.8%, to 462 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
