In January-July Ukraine produced 12.7 million tons of steel and 10.9 million tons of rolled metal, up by 4% and by 2% YoY respectively.
Pig iron manufacture dropped by 0.2%, to 11.9 million tons.
In July steel output went up by 8% MoM, to 1.8 million tons, rolled metal – by 1%, to 1.5 million tons, and pig iron – by 8%, to 1.7 million tons.
In 7 months Ukraine produced 12.8 million tons of pellets, up by 2%, 18.4 million tons of sinter, up by 1%, and 36.9 million tons iron ore concentrate, up by 5%.
At the same time coke manufacture decreased by 5%, to 5.98 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
