Severstal has started assembling the main machinery of the line to briquette gas-purifying equipment dust at Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works, which will allow re-using some 23 thousand tons of metal dust per year.
The line will be commissioned until the end of the year.
The design capacity will be reached in 2020.
The machinery has been supplied by Amcom LLC.
Investments in the project total 100 million rubles.
Briquettes will be used in electric arc furnaces or will be sold. (Ukrainian metal)
