In January-July Ukraine increased semi-finished steel products exports by 6.6% YoY, to 4.36 million tons valued at $1.84 billion, down by 6.3%.
Carbon steel semi-finished products exports totaled 4.32 million tons for $1.82 billion.
The main customers were Italy (31%), Egypt (15.5%) and Algeria (8.2%).
In 7 months Ukraine imported 32.2 thousand tons steel semis valued at $20.2 million, up by 28.9% and by 28.8% respectively. Russia accounted for $18.5 million. (Ukrainian metal)
