Because of a malfunction of pump machinery one of the horizons at the Novodruzheskaya mine of the state enterprise Lisichanskugol has been flooded.
The breakdown occurred on August 5.
The pumping of water from the horizon of 840 meters has stopped.
Each horizon should have 2 pump machines, but because of underfinancing the mine uses only one. Such a situation is observed at all Lisichanskugol mines.
A new pumping machine costs 650-700 thousand UAH. But the enterprise does not even have money to pay salary to miners.
Now the Novodruzheskaya mine will be extracting 2 times less coal. The mine still has three more horizons, but the situation there is the same. (Ukrainian metal)
