In January-July, Ukraine decreased exports of semi-finished steel products by 36.3% YoY, to 705.62 thousand tons.
According to the State Customs Service, the main customers were Bulgaria (278.4 thousand tons, -26.2%), Turkiye (120.07 thousand tons, +14.4%), Poland (98.48 thousand tons) and Egypt (51.02 thousand tons, -65.7%).
In July, exports totaled 140.94 thousand tons, up by 140.5% MoM, but down by 41% YoY, and the largest volumes since April. Bulgaria bought 39.76 thousand tons of semi-finished steel products (+27.6% MoM and -42.4% YoY), Turkiye – 35.77 thousand tons (-3.3% YoY), Egypt – 29.09 thousand tons (-64.7% YoY) and Poland – 5.03 thousand tons (-76.4% MoM).
Export revenue over 7 months decreased by 37.6%, to $342.98 million, and in July dropped by 41% YoY, but increased by 118.3% MoM, to $64.49 million. (Ukrainian metal)
