In May Russia imported 3.6 thousand tons of copper scrap and waste, down by 13.4% MoM, but up by 17.9% YoY.
In 5 months imports totaled 15.5 thousand tons, up by 45.1% YoY.
The main suppliers were Germany (958 tons, up by 40% MoM) and Kyrgyzstan (664 tons, down 2-fold).
In monetary terms since the start of the year imports have increased by 33.9%. In May import prices remained unchanged – $5.8 per kg. (Ukrainian metal)
