In January-May Russia produced 25.6 million tons of rolled metal, on par with 5 months of 2018.
In May output grew by 8.5% MoM and by 0.9% YoY.
According to the Federal Service of State Statistics, pig iron manufacture in 5 months totaled 21.3 million tons, down by 1.5%, with May results up by 3.7% MoM, but down by 1.3% YoY.
Pipe manufacture dropped by 2.3% YoY, to 5 million tons. In May the output grew by 3.7% MoM, but fell by 1% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
