In January-September, Azerbaijan produced 461.7 tons of copper wire, up 5.1-fold YoY, 47.435 thousand tons of aluminum wares, up by 65.7%, and 290.2 thousand tons of steel castings, up by 21.8%.
Manufacture of rebars increased by 32.1%, to 317.1 thousand tons, but of steel pipes fell by 70.8%, to 68 thousand tons, and raw lead, aluminum, zinc and nickel – by 29.7%, to 18 thousand tons.
As of October 1, warehouses stocked more than 14.6 thousand tons of steel castings, 25.2 thousand tons of rebars, 0.1 thousand tons of steel pipes, 4.5 thousand tons of raw lead, aluminum, zinc and nickel and 2.853 thousand tons of aluminum wares.
Azerbaijan also produced 17.233 thousand tons of metal structures (-3.6%), 7.048 thousand tons of cables and similar wares without insulation (+13.8%) and 18.965 thousand tons of other metal wares (+24.1%). Stocks of metal structures amounted to 11.986 thousand tons and other metal wares – 59.7 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
