In January-April Kazakhstan mined 1.3 million tons of aluminum ores, down by 22% YoY.
Raw aluminum manufacture dropped by 9%, to 528.7 thousand tons.
Pavlodar region accounted for 99% of the output, as the Kazakhstan Electrolysis Plant is situated there.
In Q1, raw aluminum exports decreased by 31.2%, to 212.7 thousand tons, while sales on the domestic market grew by 44.5%, to 193.1 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
