In 2017-2018 Ukrainian metal and mining companies increased investments in environment protection. In particular, expenses of the iron ore processors grew by 30.3%, to 7.3 billion UAH, and metal companies – by 25.5%, to 5.9 billion UAH.
The share of the industry in the overall expenses in Ukraine increased from 17.7% to 21.4% and from 15% to 17.35% respectively.
In 2018 investments reached 1.7 billion UAH at ore mining enterprises and 2.8 billion UAH at metal companies. (Ukrainian metal)
