In January-March, Ukraine exported 1.845 million tons of semi-finished products, up by 11.1% YoY.
Imports grew by 24.9%, to 14.9 thousand tons.
Earlier the State Fiscal Service reported, that in Q1 exports of semi-finished products of carbon steel increased by 13.5% YoY, to 1.829 million tons, valued at $765 million, up by 4.3%. Italy (27.21%), Egypt (18.42%) and Indonesia (9.74%) were the main importers.
Moreover, in 3 months Ukraine imported 14.23 thousand tons of the products valued at $8.366 million, up by 35.9% and by 42.4% YoY respectively. All the metal was supplied from Russia. (Ukrainian metal)
