In March, Kazakhstan produced 0.673 million tons of steel, up by 56.4% YoY.

In Q1 steel output dropped by 2.7% YoY, to 1.135 million tons.

According to the Ministry of National Economy, rolled metal output dropped by 22.9%, to 0.208 million tons in March and by 48%, to 0.391 million tons in Q1.

Ferroalloys manufacturers increased output by 7.8%, to 0.182 million tons in March and by 7.1%, to 0.53 million tons in Q1. (Ukrainian metal)
