In January-March, Chukotka Autonomous District extracted 5315 kg of gold, almost unchanged YoY.
Silver output dropped by 6.6%, to 25.6 tons.
At present 5 enterprises are mining gold in the region: Chukotka Mining and Geological Company, Severnoye Zoloto LLC, Mayskoye LLC, Rudnik Karalveyem and Rudnik Valunistiy LLC.
Alluvial gold extraction will last from May till October.
In Q1 2018 Chukotka extracted 5322 kg of gold and 27.5 tons of silver.
In 2018 gold output totaled 24130 kg and silver – 111.4 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
