In January-February, Armenian metal industry decreased output by 17.6% as opposed to a drop of 10.8% last year.

The only increase was registered for ferromolybdenum manufacture – by 46%, to 1041 tons, as opposed to a drop of 38.6%. In February, ferromolybdenum output totaled 555 tons, up by 14.2% MoM.

Copper concentrate manufacture fell by 19.5%, to 43.4 tons, with 19.4 thousand tons produced in February, down by 19.2% MoM.

The output of zinc concentrate decreased by 3.4%, to 1551 tons, but grew by 12.8%, to 822 tons in February.

Armenia produced 4715 tons of aluminum foil, down by 16.6%, with 2600 tons produced in February, up by 22.9%.

Steel pipes manufacture in January-February dropped by 14.5%, to 1399 tons. In February output increased by 3.3%, to 711 tons.
