ArcelorMittal Temirtau has purchased three coal cutter-loaders from Yasinovataya Machine-Building Works situated on the territory of the Russia-occupied Donetsk region in Ukraine, the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, a terrorist organization created and supported by Russia.

The price of the contract, concluded in June 2018, was $1.65 million.

Paramjit Kahlon, the CEO of the AMT, is also the CEO of ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih in Ukraine.

The first of the cutter-loaders was delivered in September 2018 to the mine named after Kuzembayev in the city of Saran. The machine is yet to be assembled. The other two are being manufactured.

Since 2015 Yasinovataya Machine-Building Works has been paying taxes to the occupation authorities (or, actually – to Russia), and its shops have become the base for the Russian troops. (Ukrainian metal)
