In January-February Magadan region extracted 4569 kg of gold and 99.7 tons of silver.
Gold output increased 1.8-fold YoY, while silver extraction did not change.
In the first two months of 2017 the region yielded 2516.4 kg of gold.
The considerable increase in gold output has to do with Natalkinskiy GOK reaching its design capacity. Since the start of the year the enterprise has extracted some 2 tons of gold.
This year the region intends to get 40 tons of gold, up by 8.7% YoY.
Silver output is expected at 600 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
