In January-February Amur region extracted 2675.8 kg of gold, down by 5.2% YoY.
At present only ore gold is mined in the region. Alluvial gold extraction will start in April-May.
5 companies are engaged in gold mining, with Petropavlovsk in the lead.
In particular, the company enterprises provided for 85% of the combined gold output. Thus, Malomyr and Albyn yielded 935 kg and 858.4 kg of gold respectively. Pokrovsky Mine extracted 470.2 kg of gold.
The rest was mined by Priisk Solovievsky and Berezitoviy Mine LLC. (Ukrainian metal)
