The Ministry of Industry and New Technologies is calling on the Tajik-Iranian gold-extracting company Pakrut to increase output and processing.

Since 2014 Pakrut has been fully owned by China Nonferrous Metal International Mining Co., Ltd.

The first gold ingots were produced in early 2017.

The same year the Pakrut mine was damaged by snow avalanches.

The company license is valid until 2030. Until that time the company intends to produce 857 thousand ounces of gold and 123 thousand ounces of silver. (Ukrainian metal)
