In 2018 Russia exported 5.74 million tons of scrap valued at $1660 million, up by 6.9% and by 24.9% YoY respectively.

Turkey accounted for some 43% of the purchases, up by 4.9%.

In December 2018 the average prices was $256 per ton, up by 2%.

The share of Belarus is 24.2%, up by 4.8%, and the price is $279, down by 2.3%.

South Korea imported 15.7% of scrap, down by 8.6%, at an average price of $279 per ton, down by 2.3%.

Deliveries to Greece increased 4-fold, to 2.5% at $251 per ton, up by 60.2%. (Ukrainian metal)
