The department of the inner market protection of the Eurasian Economic Committee has started a special investigation on the imports of welded pipes made of corrosion-resistant steel.
In particular, the department will be investigating the imports of pipes and tubes with the outer diameter of 6 to 115 mm and wall thickness of 0.4 to 6 mm, as well as hollow sections with the maximum size of 140×140 mm and the same wall thickness.
The reason of the investigation is the considerable increase of stainless steel pipes import in 2015-2018 (41.4%). (Ukrainian metal)
