The State Expertise Service has approved the project to develop the ore zone No. 1 of the gold-silver deposit Dvoynoye.
The site is situated in Chukotka and will be developed by Severnoye zoloto LLC, a part of Kinross Gold.
The company intends to mine 230 thousand tons of ore per year at the site.
The ore will be processed at the Kupol factory. (Ukrainian metal)
