In January Magadan region extracted 2199.9 kg of ore gold and 53.5 tons of silver,
Gold output grew by 67% YoY, mostly because of the growth of capacities at Pavlik and Natalka mining and processing works.
Silver extraction dropped by 1.1%.
This year the region intends to mine 40 tons of gold, up by 8.7% YoY.
Silver output is projected at 600 tons.
Last year Magadan region extracted 36.8 tons of gold, including 18.9 tons of ore gold and 17.8 tons of alluvial gold.
Silver output totaled 696.4 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
