In 2018 the Republic of Buryatia mined 5246.4 kg of gold, down by 7.5% YoY.
The output volumes are gradually decreasing. In 2017 gold output was 5680 kg, in 2016 – 5891 kg and in 2015 – 6447 kg.
Ore gold mining dropped by 19.3%, to 3245.1 kg.
At the same time alluvial gold output increased by 7%, to 2001.3 kg. (Ukrainian metal)
