In November Russia produced 4.04 million tons of pig iron, down by 9.1% YoY (4.175 million tons in October).
In 11 months the output totaled 47.025 million tons, down by 0.9%.
Ukraine, though no longer a part of CIS, decreased pig iron output by 9.6% YoY, to 1.642 million tons in November (1.785 million tons), but increased in 11 months by 2.7%, to 18.728 million tons.
Kazakhstan produced 250 thousand tons of pig iron, down by 26% in November (260 thousand tons), and 3.178 million tons in January-November, down by 7.6%.
All in all CIS countries in November produced 5.932 million tons of pig iron, down by 10.1% YoY, with 6.22 million tons produced in October.
In January-November the overall output totaled 68.931 million tons, down by 0.2% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
