In January-November ferrous metals transportation via railroad decreased by 3% YoY, to 18.3 million tons.

According to the State Statistics Service, iron and manganese ore transportation grew by 2.8%, to 60.8 million tons.

Coke transportation dropped by 2.4%, to 4.5 million tons, while scrap went up by 0.1%, to 2.8 million tons.

Ferrous metals exports via seaports increased by 9%, to 13.65 million tons.

In particular, the export of pig iron grew by 36.6%, to 2.717 million tons, and scrap – by 2.2%, to 78.56 thousand tons. At the same time the export of rolled metal dropped by 0.9%, to 8.024 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
