Members of Volyn region council will ask the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada to help finish the construction of the Novovolynskaya Mine No. 10.
This is the only mine the construction of which started during the years of independence.
The mine reserves are estimated at 40 million tons of coal.
The first stage of the mine is 89% complete.
But lately there were not enough funds to finish construction. In 2018 the government provided 10 million UAH, and in 2019, 25 million UAH will be given.
The region council asks to provide 150 million UAH next year. (Ukrainian metal)
