The state enterprise Energorynok has not determined the agreement on the electric energy purchase for Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Plant.
Thus, the company will not be able to conclude the agreement for the delivery of electricity from January 1, 2019. If Energorynok suspends the sale of electricity, ZZF will be forced to stop operation.
The company is the largest electricity consumer in Zaporozhye region – it consumes some 135 million kW-h per month. The share of electricity in the prime cost of its products is 50%.
The current agreement with Energorynok expires on December 31. (Ukrainian metal)
