In March, Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Works intends to remain idle due to persisting high prices for electricity and low global ferroalloy prices.

According to the company board chairman Pavlo Kravchenko, electricity prices do not fall, while global ferroalloy prices are not expected to grow.

“We cannot say now that manufacture will be resumes in the short-term,” he said. “We have discussed the situation with the CEO recently. The situation is being monitored.” (Ukrainian metal)
