Ukraine: ZZF oil transformer catches fire

An oil transformer with cables caught fire on the territory of the Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Plant.

Some 28 firefighters and 7 units of special machinery were engaged in extinguishing the fire.

The fire appeared on the area of 25 square meters.

The reason of the fire is unknown as yet. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: ZZF SB chairman replaced

The supervisory board of Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Plant has elected Maxim Dunych the chairman instead of Alexei Androschuk.

The decision was taken at the board meeting on July 10.

In October Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Plant produced 25.7 thousand tons of ferroalloys, up by 8.9% MoM, or by 2.1 thousand tons.
