The employees of the Lesnaya mine in Chervonograd have announced an underground strike because of the salary debts.

Since midday of December 10 miners of two shifts have remained underground.

On December 6 the miners informed the management of the state enterprise Lvivugol about the possible strike.

Since they have not been paid for October and November, on December 10 they started striking.

Until the end of the day they received 18% of the salary debt for October, but did not stop striking.

The miners have informed the president, the prime minister, the Ministry of energy and coal industry, the chairman of the Lviv region and the director of Lvivugol that they will not stop striking until they are paid 100% of their October and 50% of the November salary. (Ukrainian metal)
