The works to produce titanium dioxide in the town of Armyansk in the Russia-annexed Crimea has been granted the rights to resume operation after a halt in early September because of the air pollution.

The manufacturing wastes have been dumped since early 1970s. The size of the technical reservoir is 42 square kilometers and the volume is 30 million cubic meters.

The Titanium Investments LLC (Moscow) was registered in June 2014. The same year it was given the assets of the Crimean Titanium in long-term lease. (Ukrainian metal)
