The Federal Agency on subsoil use has announced an auction for the development and extraction of bismuth-containing copper-cobalt ores at the Western site of Kara-Jul ore lode in the Republic of Altai.

The initial price of a 20-year license will be 413.07 million rubles.

The Moscow-based company Altairudametall owned the license in 2006-2015. But the license was revoked because of the violations of the license agreement.

The balance reserves of the deposit exceed 12 thousand tons of bismuth, 25.6 thousand tons of cobalt and 54 thousand tons of copper. (Ukrainian metal)
