In September Russia transported 6.22 million tons of ferrous metals via railroad, up by 1.7% YoY.

Deliveries to the local market dropped by 0.8%, to 3.6 million tons, while exports grew by 7.5%, to 2.21 million tons.

Imports decreased by 16.8%, to 303.7 thousand tons.

In January-September ferrous metals transportation reached 58.22 million tons, up by 9.1% YoY, including 32.63 million tons of domestic transportation, up by 10%, 21.55 million tons of exports, up by 11.1%, and 3.25 million tons of imports, down by 8.4%. (Ukrainian metal)
