In January-August Ukraine increased exports of steel pipes by 7.3% YoY, to 434.6 thousand tons.
In particular, seamless pipes accounted for 70.2%, and welded pipes – for 29.8%.
Exports grew by 39.6% YoY, to $484.6 million (seamless pipes – by 82.2%, and welded – by 17.8%).
In 8 months imports of seamless pipes dropped by 53.1% YoY, to 40.3 thousand tons, with 9.9 thousand tons imported in August. (Ukrainian metal)
