Global steel output grew by 5.8% YoY in June, to 151.4 million tons, according to World Steel Association.
In January-June steel manufacture increased by 4.6% YoY, to 881.5 million tons.
Ukraine produced 1.7 million tons of steel, up by 7.5%.
Thanks to that the country was able to climb two steps in the world rating from 14 to 12.
