Russia’s aluminum exports almost tripled MoM, to 420,100 tons in May, the Federal Customs Service said.

In monetary terms, aluminum exports grew 2.55-fold, to $751.6 million.

In January-May the exports rose by 22.8%, to 1.337 million tons in volume terms and by 44.1%, to $2.482 billion in monetary terms.

Copper exports grew by 25.9%, to 288,200 tons worth $1.965 billion, up by 52.5%.

Nickel exports went down by 2.1% to 57,700 tons, with the cost increasing by 40.4%, to $786.8 million. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
