Rotek has started assembling the transformation substation at the Kekura gold deposits in Chukotka Autonomous District ahead of schedule.
The commissioning of the power machinery is scheduled for late 2018.
The transformer substation will be providing the gold-extracting enterprise with electricity for 30 years.
Kekura is developed by a Highland Gold subsidiary. (Ukrainian metal)
