In January-May Russia produced 21.6 million tons of pig iron, down by 0.4% YoY.
According to the Federal Service of State Statistics, in May the decrease was 0.2% YoY and 0.6% MoM.
Rolled metal output increased by 2.3%, to 25.9 million tons, with May results up by 0.5% MoM and by 2.9% YoY.
Pipe companies produced 5.1 million tons of pipes in 5 months, up by 12.8% YoY. In May the output grew by 1.4% MoM and by 10.5% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
