Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company is carrying out operation at the Khopra sulfide-nickel deposits in Voronezh region.
The prospecting work has been completed, and now the company is preparing the necessary documents. The process is expected to wrap up by 2020.
According to the company statement, preliminary estimations show that the construction of a mining and processing works should start in 2021. The development is expected to begin in 2026, at that time nickel production will also start.
