In January-May Irkutsk region yielded 6902 kg of gold, up by 15% YoY.
In particular, ore gold output totaled 5662 kg, and alluvial gold – 129 kg.
6 companies provided for the most output. Polyus Verninskoye mined 2923.6 kg of gold, Vysochaishiy – 1813 kg, Ugakhan – 649 kg, Lenzoloto – 451 kg, Vitim – 485 kg and Druza LLC – 371 kg.
This year the region intends to extract 24150 kg of gold, including 13731 kg of ore gold and 10420 kg of alluvial gold.
In January-May 2017 Irkutsk region yielded 6021 kg of gold, including 4557 kg of ore gold and 1463 kg of alluvial gold.
In 2017 gold output totaled 22903 kg. (Ukrainian metal)
