Ukrmetallurgprom and the Ukrainian association of secondary metals UAVtormet have addressed the Verkhovna Rada asking it to free the scrap metal operations from VAT.
“This will make it impossible to some companies to carry out operations, which allow them to get the VAT reimbursed from the state budget”, the letter said.
According to the letter, the practice of no VAT will allow to prevent some problems, which will affect both the industry and the economy on the whole. (Ukrainian metal)
