Severstal has supplied around 40 thousand tons of various rolled metal for the construction of all the 12 stadiums, which will host the FIFA World Cup.
When constructing the arenas, Severstal’s sheets and rebars were used.
Metal was supplied both from the manufacturing site in the city of Cherepovets and from Severstal Bar Works Balakovo.
In particular, for the construction of the stadium in Samara some 18 thousand tons of metal were delivered, as well as 2 thousand tons to Nizhny Novgorod, 1.5 thousand tons to Volgograd, and 12.3 thousand tons of rolled metal and 6.7 thousand tons of rebars for the construction of the Zenit Arena in St. Petersburg.
