In January-May Ukraine increased coal imports by 42.9% YoY, to 9.246 million tons.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the value of the coal imported was $1.248 billion, up by 20.6% YoY.
Russia supplied $826.656 million worth of coal (66.19%), USA – $343.63 million (27.51%), Canada – $48.365 million (3,87%), and other countries – $30.262 million (2.42%).
In 5 months Ukraine exported 44.879 thousand tons of coal valued at $7.863 million, including $4.597 million to Russia, $3.201 million to Slovakia, $0.025 million to Poland and $0.04 million to other countries. (Ukrainian metal)
