Russia, which controls its own terrorist organization of the Donetsk People’s Republic, has started restoring machinery at Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works, burned down by the militants in early April.
“The rare and expensive machinery is slowly being restored, the manufacturing process is going on. Thanks to the Russian specialists and enormous sums of money it is possible to resume the complete operation to the level before the fire. Not everything is lost for Yenakievo yet. Russia has got down to lots of spending. The situation is on personal control in Moscow” the Telegram channel Donetsk Local said.
EMZ was completely shut down after a fire in the converter shop on April 6. (Ukrainian metal)
