Valentin Makarenko has been appointed the director of the scrap-procuring company Interpipe Vtormet.
According to the company press release, his first day in the office was April 28.
“Makarenko has been working for Interpipe for 2 years. Previously he has been the commercial director at Interpipe Vtormet”, the report said.
His main tasks in the new office will be to provide the company with enough raw materials and take care of its efficient operation.
“Makarenko has a 20-year experience in the metal business. He is one of the leading specialists on the metal scrap market of Ukraine. Prior to the transition to Interpipe he has been the chairman of the Ukrainian Association of Secondary Metals (UAVtormet) supervisory board and has been working for 5 years for Ukrmetko Ltd LLC and Euro Finance LLC”, the press release said.
Gennady Shevchenko, who has previously been the commercial director of Interpipe Vtormet, has finished his cooperation with the company. (Ukrainian metal)
